Orchard Path Senior Living Facility Gains Approval for Second Ground Sign

The Apple Valley City Council approved a text amendment to Plan Development (PD) 703 to allow for an additional ground sign at the Orchard Path Senior Living Facility. The facility, owned by Presbyterian Homes and Services, recently completed its third phase. The amendment allows for a second monument sign to serve the new entrance and address of the recently completed South Wing. Staff recommended approval with specific conditions, including that the property be an apartment or continuum of care community, a corner lot, have no building signs, meet minimum signage requirements, and the primary building have two or more street addresses.
