EMS and Fire Departments Report Increased Activity and Training

Assistant Chief Ryan McAffrey reported that Baldwin EMS responded to 319 calls in June with an average response time of 7.2 minutes, totaling 1,947 calls year-to-date with an average response time of 6.62 minutes [cite: 353-359]. EMS participated in joint training with Southeast Regional EMS, revalidation for Medicare, and a vendor fair at Colonial Oaks [cite: 385-399, 401-407].
