The City Council reviewed the city's manual of fees for the fiscal year 2027, which details proposed fees for permits, licensing, inspections, fines, and public utilities. Additionally, the Municipal Authority approved a feasibility study for a high-efficiency transfer station to serve as a central hub for the solid waste and recycling department.

Intersection Improvements and Street Lighting Services Approved

The council reviewed three conceptual designs for the 20th Street and Hillside Drive intersection, selecting a design that includes a new traffic signal and other improvements. Additionally, an agreement was approved with an engineering firm to design improvements for the Kenosha Street and Midway intersection, which will include left turn lanes, signalization, and drainage improvements. The council also approved a renewal agreement with Davis H. Elliott for Highway 51 street lighting services, covering routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and related work along the Broken Arrow Expressway.

An economic development agreement was approved for Rise Grind and Ride. This project involves renovating a 2,200 square foot building at the corner of Dallas and Main in the Rose District to create a neighborhood market and deli concept.

Noise Ordinance Waiver and Construction Variance Approved

A noise ordinance waiver was approved for the Broken Arrow Lacrosse Club to host a 24-hour tournament at Lynn Haven Park on August 8th, allowing activities to continue between 11:00 p.m. on August 8th and 7:00 a.m. on August 9th. A construction variance was also approved for a project off College Street between Lynn Lane and County Line Road, permitting concrete pouring outside of standard hours due to weather dependency.
