He stated that future buyers and the planning board would address any historical considerations during the development process, and suggested Mancucci's direct approach to state officials was unnecessary and costly.
Concerns Raised Over Nasonville Water Tower Location and Development Pace
During public comment, Matt White raised concerns about the Nasonville water system, specifically regarding the approved water tower location at the middle school (Location B). He noted that a stipulation was made regarding not affecting cross-country, but expressed his belief that construction would inevitably impact the sport, at least during the construction phase and potentially afterward. White also suggested that the town consider pausing development plans for Nasonville until after the comprehensive plan review, expressing skepticism about the 'organic' desire for development and the risk of future overdevelopment.
Town Council Refers Zoning Amendment Petition to Planning Board
The council considered a petition from Robert Woods and Citadel Development Group LLC to amend Boroughville General Ordinances Section 30-31, concerning zoning districts and maps. The proposed amendment involves extending the R40 zone into areas currently zoned F5. The council voted to officially refer this petition to the Planning Board for an advisory opinion, acknowledging that this is a necessary procedural step before any further action can be taken by the council. Haunted Gallows Obtains Quarterly Entertainment License
