Erlanger Health Proposes $2 Billion Partnership with Prisma Health
Erlanger Health is proposing a $2 billion partnership with Prisma Health to expand healthcare services in the Chattanooga area. The partnership aims to fund new urgent care centers, outpatient surgery facilities, imaging centers, and improvements at Erlanger East and Baroness Hospital. If approved, Erlanger would become a subsidiary of Prisma Health, retaining its name, employees, trauma center, and children's hospital. The health systems will spend 120 days finalizing the agreement.
Cleveland City Council to Consider Utility Acquisition by Eminent Domain
The Cleveland City Council will consider a resolution supporting Cleveland Utilities' proposed acquisition of volunteer energy cooperatives' electric utility facilities and service rights for two parcels of land along Dry Valley Road by eminent domain. A special called meeting is scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 24th, at 2:30 PM at the Cleveland Municipal Building.
Cleveland City Schools Announce Back-to-School Bash
The Cleveland City Schools are hosting a back-to-school bash on Monday, July 27th, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Denning Center. The event will feature school supplies, door prizes, a storybook trail, family resources, and food trucks. Bridget will be present live from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Bradley Sunrise Rotary to Host Sunset Gala with Online Auction
