Commissioners Discuss Proclamation Protocol and Code Violation Policy

Commissioner Smith also raised concerns about proactive code enforcement and communication with residents.
Proposed Millage Rate of 5.835 Adopted for Fiscal Year 2026-27
The commission considered Resolution 2637, which adopts a proposed millage rate of 5.835 for the general operating budget for fiscal year 2026-27. The resolution sets the date, time, and location for a public hearing to formally adopt the millage rate. Commissioner Schrouder expressed contingent approval based on prior discussions with staff regarding fund allocation. The resolution was approved.
