Initially, the applicant requested to vacate 0.125 acres off Thurston Street. Upon survey completion, it was determined that an existing building on the Jackson Enterprises property was encroaching on the Jackson Avenue right-of-way. Consequently, the proposal was amended to vacate 0.062 acres along Jackson Avenue. The ordinance was adopted.
