Eden City Council Considers and Rejects Changes to Residency Requirements for City Officials

The Eden City Council considered amending Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances regarding personnel residency restrictions. Initially, staff proposed expanding the allowance for certain positions to include residents within ten miles of the city, changing from the existing five-mile radius [cite: 6].
