Dan Harris Reappointed to Board of Adjustments After Clarification

Mr. Harris himself confirmed his desire to be reappointed. City Council Approves Additional Funds for Water Plant Generators Project Amidst Grant Funding
The city council approved Change Order Number Two for the HMGP water plant generators project, contracting with J4 Fencing and Service LLC. This change order adds $14,883 to the contract, bringing the total to an adjusted amount pending FEMA reimbursement. The increase is due to the actual cost of natural gas for the generators exceeding the initial allowance. The project is funded by a grant with a 10% match, and while the additional cost is expected to be reimbursed, the final approval from FEMA is pending. Concerns were raised about potential future change orders and the reliance on natural gas for emergency generators.
