Holland City Council Approves Consent Agenda and Recognizes LAUP

The Holland City Council approved the consent agenda, which included various routine items such as excusing absences, approving minutes, an oath of office, a resolution for fund transfers, an engineering design contract for water main replacement, a listing agreement for property sale, claims against the city, a pool table license, a social district permit, a rental agreement for pavement mill, sidewalk easements, financial reports, purchases of a snow plow dump truck, mowers, a Gator, pickup trucks, police pursuit vehicles, and an award for tulip bulbs. The council also accepted written communications into the record and approved gifts for the Parks and Recreation Services General Parks Fund and the Sell Press Scholarship Fund. Additionally, Mayor Nathan Box issued a proclamation recognizing Latin Americans United for Progress (LAUP) for their contributions and community services, coinciding with the start of the 67th Fiesta.
