Jacksonville Housing Authority Board Reappointments Approved
The City Council reappointed two individuals to the Jacksonville Housing Authority Board. Greg Bolan was reappointed for a term expiring March 17, 2030, and Shaughnessy Person was reappointed for a term expiring March 17, 2031. Both reappointments were approved.
City Council Fails to Advance Improvement District Ordinance 1818

Miranda Reigns counter offered $10,000 for a tract appraised at $4,000, citing the impact on her property due to a new bike lane and sidewalk, which would place her driveway exit onto the sidewalk. The council voted to accept the church's counter offer. For Miranda Reigns' property, the council agreed to have the design re-evaluated to see if adjustments could be made to mitigate the impact on her daily life, acknowledging potential regulatory hurdles and costs.
