La Marada City Council Reorganizes: Otero Appointed Mayor, DeRuse Mayor Pro Tem

La Marada Approves Participation in Community Development Block Grant Program
The City Council of La Marada adopted a resolution to participate in the Los Angeles Urban County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the period of July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030. This participation includes urban renewal activities such as housing improvement for low-to-moderate income persons. Current programs offered under this grant include the Home Improvement Assistance Program and Senior Services Programs. The City Manager is authorized to sign the cooperation agreement and any subsequent amendments with the LA County Development Authority.
