Select Board Approves Warrant, Minutes, and Pole Installation; Discusses Future Anniversary Planning and Downtown Issues
The Select Board approved the signing of the warrant and the regular session minutes from June 29th. The board also addressed two public hearings: one for Inuvo Sarrento LLC concerning a common victual license transfer and new entertainment license, which was continued to July 27th; and another for Massachusetts Electric Company (National Grid) and Verizon New England to install one joint-use pole on West Street, which was approved. The Town Administrator thanked various town officials and the Milford Lions Club for their work related to the July 5th fireworks. New business included discussions about potentially forming a committee for Milford's 250th anniversary and addressing downtown storefronts with plywood windows. The board also acknowledged correspondence regarding the Milford Allegian Baseball hosting the 226 American Allegiance Senior State Tournament.
