The Park Board approved a proposal from Reworld for the cleaning of the marina fish cleaning station's grease trap. The cleaning is necessary to reopen the amenity and prevent future problems. The proposal for Reworld to vac out the approximately 500 gallons of solids from the 1,000-gallon grease trap, including labor and fees, totals $748.94. Park Board Approves Credit for Event Fee Due to Power Outage
Annette Hansen requested reimbursement for generator and lantern rental fees ($280) incurred during her 'Gnome's Day Out Fairy Festival' event at the open-air pavilion due to a power outage caused by a tornado. She also suggested providing a generator on-site and training park helpers on alarm systems. The Park Board agreed to apply the $280 cost as a credit towards her next year's rental fee. Public Works confirmed plans to have generators available in the future and will investigate alarm system training.
