The project involves approximately 7,800 square yards of concrete pavement, 500 linear feet of drainage pipe, 2,500 linear feet of water pipe, 2,300 linear feet of wastewater pipe, and 2,300 linear feet of illuminated conduit for street lights. The project aims to improve drainage and road infrastructure in the affected areas. The contract was awarded to DDM Construction Corporation for an amount not to exceed $2,779,067.50, including a 10% contingency. A subsequent change order for $165,000 was also approved for additional work.
New Equinox Allocated to Police Department as Part of Fleet Replacement

DBA Texas BIT, will involve milling five inches of the existing asphalt and applying a two-inch HMAC overlay, along with base preparation and restriping. The work aims to address the road's current condition, which includes steep transitions and a recent temporary cap overlay. The cost for this option is not to exceed $647,868.12, with an anticipated completion time of 25 working days. This option is expected to provide a lifespan of approximately five years before full reconstruction is needed.
