Another resident, Dora Sandoval, shared her personal experience of having her bi-directional meter removed after installing solar panels, leading to a significant increase in her electricity bill and facing rude and unprofessional treatment from property management. Pat Gibbons, also a resident, inquired about the city's ability to help resolve these meter and billing issues, and the city manager indicated a willingness to brainstorm solutions.

They linked this to the Tyler ERP solution, citing past data scandals associated with Tyler's technologies. The resident also questioned the need for an expensive consultant for council chambers upgrades and criticized the lack of detail on the $1 million expenditure. Another resident commented on items 2, 8, and 9 of the consent calendar, questioning the expenditure of over $7,000 for Nudex, $4,100 for LinkedIn for city employees, and $15,467 for Regional Government Services Authority. They also noted a $5,000 payment to the band Mighty and Hussite for the July 4th event as being unusually high. A third resident spoke about issues with solar panel meters in their mobile home park, stating that property management removed bi-directional meters, causing incorrect billing and financial hardship.
