Twinsburg Council Approves Rezoning and Ballot Measure for 2570 Post Road Property
Ordinance 2026-93 was passed, rezoning a property at 2570 Post Road, Twinsburg, Ohio, from public facility use to R3 single-unit residential zone use. The ordinance was moved by an unnamed council member and seconded by Mrs. Labby. The vote was 7-0 in favor [cite: 37-48, 57-58]. Ordinance 2026-94 was subsequently passed, requesting and authorizing the Summit County Board of Elections to place the rezoning question on the ballot for the general election on November 3rd, 2026. This ordinance was declared an emergency and also passed 7-0 [cite: 59-75, 84-85].
Twinsburg Council Amends Natural Gas Aggregation Agreement with IGS Energy
Ordinance 2026-100 was passed, authorizing the mayor to enter into a first amendment with IGS Energy to a previously authorized government natural gas aggregation program master service agreement. The ordinance was declared an emergency and passed 7-0. The three-reading rule was suspended to allow for immediate passage.
