Westford Implements Water Restrictions Due to Critical Drought; Forge Pond Treatment Noted
The town of Westford is experiencing a critical drought, leading to restrictions on outdoor watering. Residents are advised to check the water department's web page for details on these conservation measures. Additionally, Forge Pond was treated for aquatic vegetation on July 23rd, and water from this pond should not be used for irrigation until August 6th.
Town of Westford Announces Staff Promotions and New Hires
Several staff changes and promotions were announced for the town of Westford. Steve Clark was promoted to chief assessor, replacing Will Naser. Eric Dew joined as an operations analyst, and Michael Woo was hired as a project procurement specialist in the town manager's office. Jeremy Downs was appointed acting town engineer, succeeding Paul Starrett.
