At Quill Rotary, adjustments aim to clarify lane usage and improve safety, discouraging illegal left turns. The Morocco culvert project is underway, involving a coffer dam and planned installation of two new culverts under the tracks to improve flow. Bridge repairs on Cross Street will commence shortly, causing lane restrictions and potential delays, with efforts to manage traffic flow using police details and temporary signals.
Field Management Committee Reappointments Approved Amidst Term Limit Clarification
The Select Board addressed the reappointment of Michael Crane and Lex Mattio to the Field Management Committee. The discussion clarified that these positions have a term limit of three consecutive terms (nine years), but the committee's charter was amended to allow for three-year terms, making Crane and Mattio eligible for a tenth year due to a waived year.
